President's Report
Hi,
wow our second competition got off to a wet and windy start, middle and most of the end. While the weigh in and prize giving was a bit down on numbers a good time was had by all who attended. A special thanks to our October sponsors: Daltons; Matamata Directional Drilling; Chooky’s Auto; and a new one to the team is Wheelie Bin Services. Without these guys we wouldn’t have those awesome prizes for you, so please support them where and when you can.
Our next competition is of course our big November one. Our major sponsor for the month is J Swap Contractors along with 27 others. Please take the time to study your newsletter to familiarise yourselves with those who support us, with Xmas fast approaching hopefully you will get the opportunity to purchase from them. Part of J Swap Sponsorship is a trip to Mayor Island on their 44-foot launch. Get a group of people together and buy the trip and go and have a lot of fun. The boat will be auctioned at the November prize giving.
There will be plenty of kids prizes so get the wee ones out on the water, they are always such fun at the prize giving. See you all there and happy fishing.
