President's Report
Hi, hope all is good with you, your family, and friends. Wow, hard to believe our next competition date has a 6 in it, yes, we are nearly halfway through this year. Our May competition was a beauty and always is when you have awesome sponsors for the occasion like we do:Vercoe Insurance, Fairview Motors Matamata, Paul Jones, and the Laurent boys, what a team, how could you go wrong. A big thank you to all of you, we really do appreciate your support, and members – please support them when you can.
Our next competition is a long weekend so weigh in will be Monday evening. Let’s make it a real beauty in memory of the local legend and sponsor Harry Fort. Harry put a lot into our club and thanks to people like the Dench family and Brad Hutton and family, his name will remain with the June comp. Our other fabulous sponsors for the month are Phil Stevens Racing, di Rosa Cabinetry and Furniture, and UAVisual Aerial Imagery and Videography Services (Brad Hutton).
Only two comps to go to decide the trophy winners so good luck to you all. Don’t forget, and who could, this prizegiving is celebrating 30 years of the club and we want to make it a special night. It is being held at Swaps Pepper Street Café and the club is going to supply the venue, food, and band at no cost to you. Buying your drinks will be your only cost. Please get hold of any ex-members you can think of and get them to come along, ring or txt Eileen (027 368 3354) or Stef 027 481 9851 with their email address to send details. As you can see you need to phone or txt Eileen and Stef, also phone or call into Sportsworld at your earliest convenience to register your interest as numbers will be limited and for catering purposes.
