President's Report
Hi, hope all is good with you. Let me first say a great big happy new year, who knows what 2021 will bring but most of us are certainly glad to leave 2020 behind us.
Our first competition for 2021 is going to be a real beauty. The summer is going well fishing wise, marlin, yellow fin and albacore are already being caught so get out there and do it. The February competition is a bit special as it falls on a long weekend so the weigh in will be on the Monday evening, being Waitangi Day. Also keep in mind that game fish can also be fished for on the Friday so a great chance for a fourday weekend for some trolling lures.
Our sponsors for the Feb competition are awesome. We have Begovich Builders, Sportsworld, Terry and Carol Holmes, Matamata Butchery, and for the first time an excellent new addition is Bryan Shepherd with his company TOP CRU, what a great line up so get out there and fish ya heart out.
