President's Report
Hi, wow who can believe it, another one of our club seasons has come to an end
and what a beauty it has been. A big thank you must go out to you all for
being part of such an awesome club.Just to name a few things; we have had
record numbers at our competition weigh-ins and we have got on board
some excellent sponsors. Let's hope we can keep it up for the new season.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank your committee, most of them
were new to the job and they have continued on the great work done by
previous excellent committee members. Many many thanks to you all.
Congratulations to all the trophy winners, there have been some really good
battles along the way and a lot of people travelled a long way and put the hard
yards into catching some awesome fish. On that note, let's make a big effort to
come along to the prize giving. It is an important part of the club's festivities to
help the winners celebrate in their glory and moment in the sun.
Now once you have decided that you are going to come along can you please
phone the shop on 07 888 8515 and let us know. This will be a great help to the
subcommittee organising the yummy food for you all. Don't forget the date is
6th of August starting off around 3pm.
Next date to keep in mind is the AGM, this is on the 17th of August at the
clubrooms with a 7pm kick off. Please make an effort to come along and have
your say in the running of the club. As a committee we really do value your input.
Now last but not least the first comp for the new season is on the 3rd and 4th of
September. Our wonderful sponsors Mitre 10 are back on board as our major
sponsor and I am now really pleased to announce another sponsor supporting
our club, Craig and Cherie Osdasldiston have joined in for September. Craig owns
and operates an excellent business called Signtint. Craig specialises in tinting vehicles,
sign writing of all things – boats, trucks, cars etc… Craig is a member of
the club and it is great to have him come on board as a sponsor.
Once again thank you for the great season and look forward to the new one
