Hello and welcome to our new fishing club season.

 It gives me pleasure to write my first President's report for the fishing club.

 Welcome to our new Committee (see back page). There is a lot of enthusiasm being shown towards the New Year.  As a Committee we have made a few rule changes. We think this might make a fairer platform for our fishing competitions. Please familiarise yourselves with the rules which are also available on our website. If anyone has any suggestions please come forward and let us know. Our club relies on the generous sponsorship of local businesses, so please, where possible, support them.

A big thank you to last month’s sponsors Mitre 10 and Nulook. Our upcoming October competition is generously sponsored by Daltons, Matamata Directional Drilling, Chooky’s Auto and Wheelie Bin Services.

 Let's hope the weather plays its part. We, as a Committee, have new initiatives going forward throughout the season so please watch this newsletter for updates.
